Because blogs.ie or blog ireland or whatever it’s called is a stinking load of fetid shite, and their support forums are filled with nothing more than “Paris Hilton doing Linsey Lohan” spam, and because my blog is brokeded, I am currently in the process of moving to Wordpress.com

The new address will be http://oneftroad.wordpress.com and hopefully it will be better.

Unfortunately, I’ve been told that blogs.ie use WP-MU or something, and it isn’t compatible with Wordpress.com, so I have no idea how to transfer all my old posts, comments etc. to the new site.

If anyone knows (it’s no use telling me to upload an .xml plugin or anything like that, you may as well ask me to define the square root of pi) how to give me a dig out, I will shower them with gifts and blowjobs until the cows come home.

Right. There’s gremlins in my files again, and the layout of this usually shit looking website has gotten even shitter. I have learnt in the past that the only way to fix the problem is to carry on regardless and eventually something will eventually do it. Another week, another Bumper Cash Bonus for Bertie Ahern. He’s been awarded a salary increase of €38,000 for generally being a greasy little scut. This one, however, while it may be criminal, is not actually illegal.

I didn’t really want to go, but it was a Bank Holiday Sunday, and it seemed a shame to waste it by doing nothing. A few friends were off to see Ian Brown - he used to be famous when I was a teenager, you know - playing in that Marquee yoke in the Phoenix park, and I decided to come along for the ride. I’ve been to a rake of gigs over the last month, and I thought that one more couldn’t hurt.
